WELCOME TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE

By purchasing, making, or otherwise creating any of the Crysvalonia species, as well as by registering on this website, you automatically agree to this TOS.

This document may undergo changes over time. These will be announced on the site prior to becoming effective. Continuing to use the website after these updates become effective constitutes agreement with these modified Terms.

Users found breaking these TOS will be punished as we see fit.

I. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  Give credit to Pure-Blue-Heart for the species.
   • Credit is preferably given whenever you post art of your character, but is only required when posting reference sheets, or reposting the characters to sites such as Toyhou.se and Refsheet.net
2. Be nice to other members of the community. Do not make any drama.
   • If any problems arise, contact a member of the mod team. Do not try to solve a situation yourself.
     • This includes making and/or reposting callout posts.
   • Do not make mean comments about someone's art. This includes saying art is "overpriced".
   • Do not say someone is "Hoarding" characters or anything similar.
   • We do not condone nor accept anti-LGBT comments, racism, sexism, or anything like that.
3. Do not Mini-mod.
   • Please refrain from answering questions, for example in the #help-and-questions channel of our discord, if you are not a mod.
     • Do not correct (or otherwise mention) someone's Flloryupix anatomy unless asked. 
   • Only Crysvalonia characters listed on the masterlist are considered 'official'
     • There may be a delay between you buying or otherwise obtaining a character and the masterlist being updated. If it takes longer than 2 weeks, please contact a member of our team.
     • Only art of official characters will be accepted for prompts and other events.
   • Users suspected of cheating will be punished accordingly.
     • Do not use multiple accounts to get more rewards. One account per user.
   • Any sensitive topics listed below must be censored with a content warning. Please click the spoiler boxes below for more details.
     GORE

     Gore includes any sort of excessive violence and trauma to the body. including, but not limited to:

     • Large smears of blood, with or without injury.
     • Bleeding open and/or deep wounds.
     • Major amounts of bruising.
     • Visible muscle tissue and torn skin must be censored.
     • Any sort of internal organs (like guts) must be censored. Guts inside a see-through body must be censored.
     • Any non-cartoony drawn amputated/missing limbs need to be censored.
     • Any non-realistic versions of the above (Candy gore, sparkle gore, flower gore, etc.)

      

     The following content does not need to be censored:

     • Small smears of blood.
     • Small cuts.
     • Minor bruising.
     • Cartoony drawn amputated/missing limbs (stumps)
     SENSITIVE TOPICS

     Sensitive content refers to a variety of topics that might make someone uncomfortable.

     • Self-harm scars, or other imagery of self-harm.
     • Any mention of suicide and/or suicidal thoughts.
     • Any references to alcoholism or illegal drug use.
     EPILEPTIC IMAGERY

     Epileptic imagery refers to imagery that might trigger epilepsy or cause eye strain. This includes

     • Artwork made entirely/primarily of bright colors.
     • Animations/gifs with flashing colors.
     • Optical illusions
       Artwork made with clashing colors.
   •  All species in Crysvalonia are closed species. You can't make your own official Crysvalonia character
     • Permission to make a character can be granted in the form of an MYO slot. All MYO slots are listed here on their own masterlist.
   • All art and designs must be credited properly, even on other sites (e.g Toyhou.se)
   • By uploading art onto this site (for example for masterlist images) you agree that we have your permission to display this piece. If uploading another person's art, you agree that they agree with having their art posted.

II. 'ADOPTING' TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Adopting refers to purchasing a Crysvalonia character from a part of our artist team.
2. A Crysvalonia adopt is not yours until it is paid for in full. Exceptions can be made for payment plans.
3. By purchasing a Crysvalonia adopt you automatically agree to the artist's TOS, if this is linked in the description.
4. Follow adopt etiquete.
   • In an auction, always bid in the chain and pay attention to SB (starting bid), MI (Minimum increase), and AB (Auto buy).
   • Do not offer more than you can pay.
   • Payment plans and holds are available at the designer's discretion.
5. Do not harass members for bidding on Crysvalonia characters.
6. Crysvalonia adopts made by official artists can not be turned into other species without written permission.

III. RESELLING AND TRADING CHARACTERS

1. Always link the masterlist link when reselling/trading/giving away a character.
   • If someone can't provide you with a masterlist, do not buy the character! If they do not have a masterlist they are not an official Crysvalonia character and you will not be able to use them for prompts and such. We are not responsible for what you buy.
2. Make sure to check if someone isn't banned before trading with them!
3. Gifting, trading, and selling is allowed according to the status listed on the masterlist.
   • Do not try to get around this. If someone contacts you to, for example, buy a character that can only be traded and, knowing this, still tries to go through with the trade, contact mods.
4. Do not resell your character for more than what you paid for.
   • You can get any commissioned art value added to this by appraisal. Please contact a mod with proof of purchase for the commissions you got to raise the selling value.
5. Freebies may not be sold or traded until they have art.
   • This is to prevent people from getting free Crysvalonia characters only to sell/trade them for profit. Please only enter for free characters if you will genuinely use them!
   • Don't know what to do with a character that can only be regifted that you don't want? Contact Pure-Blue-Heart!
   • Art made to obtain the character (DTA/DTE art, for example) does not count.
6. In general, an adopt can only be resold if it is bought, traded if it has been bought or traded for, and all characters can be gifted.
   • Free MYOs can only be gifted until they are turned into a character. As soon as they're on the Masterlist, they can be traded as well since they now have artwork done of them!
7. You can't transfer your character until two weeks have passed.
8. Things like (monetary) vouchers, gift cards, or situations where you spend money to buy a character for the other user are not allowed if a character can't be sold.

IV. REDESIGNS & Retirement

• Small redesigns (small color shifts, minor marking changes) are allowed by default.
  • Larger redesigns are not implemented yet. These will be available when Gustav's Salon opens
• All official, guest, and MYO designs can be voided.
  • Voided designs will not be fully removed from the Masterlist for administrative purposes. They will, however, be marked as voided and will no longer be eligible to use for prompts. Designs can be transferred to the Admin account if wanted.
  • When designs are voided, all species-defining traits must be removed before they can be used outside of the species. Ie: age gems, floating tail gems, and floating front leg gems.
• Making alternate forms of your character is allowed.
  • This means forms that are other species (for example a normal dog, or another closed species), not alternate color palettes or alternate traits.
  • All alternate forms must be traded when the design is traded.
  • If making an alt. form of another closed species, you must check their TOS first.

V. MYOS

1. MYOs can only be submitted if you have a valid MYO slot. If your MYO slot is not on the site, contact Pure-Blue-Heart.
2. MYOs are allowed to be designed by other people, but they must be credited properly for their work.

VI. 'OFFBRANDING'

1. Offbranding is the practice of taking a species and copying it without the use of a MYO.
2. We DO NOT allow unofficial characters based on Crysvalonia species!
   
   • The only exception is for designs that are made with the intent of using an MYO to make them official. These designs must be marked as unofficial at all times and cannot be used in any events.
3. Any user found making unofficial characters and claiming them to be official will be banned without warning.
4. 'Personal NPCs' are allowed, and are allowed to live in the same universe as official Crysvalonia characters.
   • Personal NPCs are characters that should exist solemnly as an 'accessory to your character's backstory. Examples of this are the parents of your character, a childhood friend, etc. Personal NPCs are generally only used for small roles, and usually have little to no art or personality, and basically function as filler characters.
   • You do not need any items to make a personal NPC.

VII. BANNED MEMBERS

1. Banned members will not get their characters revoked or removed from the species.
   • Unless the characters were never theirs, to begin with.
2. Banned members may not obtain new Crysvalonia characters in any way.
   • This means they can't adopt from designs, and can't have designs transferred to them.
3. Banned members are not allowed to participate in the Discord, submit prompts, or join events. They will not be given any items.
